iGaming Events 2027: The Calendar for Job Seekers

By Daniel Moss · Updated 2026-11-03

Most iGaming hiring happens quietly, through referrals and direct messages, but a lot of those conversations start at an event. The big shows put operators, suppliers, affiliates and recruiters in one building for two or three days. If you are trying to break into the industry or move up, a show is one of the cheapest ways to meet decision makers face to face. This calendar lists the main iGaming events of 2027 by month. We checked every date and venue on 3 November 2026, and we flag any event whose 2027 details we could not confirm on the organiser's own site. After the calendar there is a short guide to turning a ticket into interviews.

For an always-current list with links to each organiser and to jobs in each host city, see the iGaming events calendar.

iGaming events 2027 at a glance

  • 18 to 20 January: ICE Barcelona, Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Spain
  • 19 to 20 January: iGB Affiliate, Fira Barcelona Gran Via (Hall 8), Spain
  • 3 to 5 May: SiGMA Europe, MFCC, Ta' Qali, Malta
  • 14 to 15 July: iGB L!VE, RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • 21 to 23 September: SBC Summit, FIL and MEO Arena, Lisbon, Portugal
  • 27 to 30 September: G2E, The Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, USA
  • Dates not confirmed yet: SBC Summit Americas, held in Fort Lauderdale in June 2026

Dates move, halls change and organisers sometimes rename shows, so check the official site again before you book flights. Hotels near the big venues tend to fill early in event weeks, which is one more reason to plan months ahead.

January: ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate

The year opens with the busiest week in the calendar. ICE Barcelona runs from 18 to 20 January 2027 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. Doors open 10:00 to 18:00 CET on the first two days and 10:00 to 16:00 on the last. ICE sits inside World Gaming Week (17 to 21 January), which adds conference stages, the ICE Lottery Summit, a Sustainable Gambling Zone with sessions on player protection and KYC, and evening drinks for leaders in African and Latin American markets. The World Gaming Week agenda puts the exhibition in Halls 1 to 5, with Hall 7 given to gaming technology, innovation and fintech.

ICE is built around operators and the businesses that sell to them. The visitor page names operators, sellers, tech providers, startups, regulators, affiliates and media buyers as its audience, and says any business that sells into the gaming industry needs a MeetMe pass to attend. That matters if you currently work for a supplier: check which pass fits your situation before you register, so you are not turned away at the door. Our ICE Barcelona 2027 guide for job seekers covers which halls to work, how to approach stands and how to follow up.

In the same venue, iGB Affiliate runs on 19 and 20 January 2027 in Hall 8, North Entrance. Its site lists a free pass for affiliates, while other visitors buy a paid pass, and early bird rates end weeks before the show. If you want an affiliate manager, SEO or content role, this is one of the biggest gatherings of affiliate businesses in the year. Browse affiliate marketing jobs before you go, so you arrive knowing which names to look for on the floor plan.

May: SiGMA Europe in Malta

SiGMA Europe is listed for 3 to 5 May 2027 at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta' Qali. The dates and venue are listed on SiGMA's official site. Confirm the dates and venue there before you book.

For job seekers this show has a close link to hiring, because Malta is one of the industry's main hubs and many operators, platform suppliers and affiliates run offices on the island. Local employers do not have to fly staff in, so it is often easier to meet team leads and hiring managers, not only sales people. If you are thinking about a move, read the Malta relocation guide and look through jobs in Malta before the show. Then book coffee meetings in the days either side of it, when people have far more time than they do on the floor.

July: iGB L!VE in Amsterdam

iGB L!VE moves to RAI Amsterdam on 14 and 15 July 2027, according to its official site. It comes from the same organiser family as ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate, which the site lists among its brands, so expect a similar mix of operators, suppliers and affiliates, with a stronger British flavour. It is the main summer show for operators and suppliers across Europe, and a good one to target if you work in affiliate, marketing or product. It is also a two day show, which suits people who cannot take a full week off work to job hunt.

September: SBC Summit in Lisbon and G2E in Las Vegas

SBC has announced that SBC Summit returns to the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and the MEO Arena from 21 to 23 September 2027. SBC's own site blocked our check, so the dates come from SBC's announcement as reported by the trade press. Look at sbcevents.com before booking. The Lisbon show leans towards sports betting, which makes it a strong pick for traders, sportsbook product people and anyone in odds, data or risk.

A few days later, G2E takes place at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from 27 to 30 September 2027, according to the official G2E site. G2E covers the wider regulated gaming industry, with slots, table games and other casino floor products alongside a dedicated iGaming and sportsbook area. Because it is held in Las Vegas, it is the event to prioritise if you want iGaming jobs in the USA or a role with a supplier that sells into US casinos.

Events without confirmed 2027 dates

Some well known events had not published 2027 dates we could confirm when we checked. Do not plan travel around these until the organiser names dates.

  • SBC Summit Americas. The 2026 edition ran in June at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We could not confirm 2027 dates with SBC.
  • SiGMA regional summits. Beyond Malta, SiGMA runs summits in other regions through the year. We could not confirm their 2027 dates or venues, so check sigma.world for each edition.
  • Smaller regional and affiliate conferences. Many local shows announce dates only a few months ahead. They are often easier to work than the giant expos, because the room is smaller and people stay put.

Do iGaming events have job zones or careers fairs?

Do not count on one. The World Gaming Week agenda for ICE 2027 and the G2E site, which we read, do not list a careers fair, jobs board or recruitment zone. The closest item at ICE is a World Gaming Week session on neuroinclusion and removing barriers to talent. So plan as if no careers area exists at any show, and treat one as a bonus if it appears.

That does not make the shows less useful for a job search. Hiring at these events happens in stand conversations, booked meetings, side events and evening receptions. Heads of department, founders and specialist recruiters all attend, and many are happy to talk about their teams once the sales rush of the day is over.

How to use an iGaming event to find a job

A ticket on its own does very little. What gets people hired is the preparation before the show and the follow up after it.

  • Pick a target list. Choose 15 to 20 companies that hire for your role. Our company directory is a good place to start. Read each one's careers page so you know what they hire for and where.
  • Book meetings before you fly. Two to three weeks ahead, message a team lead or recruiter at each target company. Say you will be at the event and ask for 15 minutes. A short, specific note works better than a general request.
  • Get your CV and profile ready. People will look you up the same evening. Make sure your CV leads with results, using the advice in our iGaming CV tips, and that your profile matches it.
  • Respect the stand. Exhibitors are there to sell. Do not pitch yourself in the middle of a client demo. Wait for a quiet moment, ask who leads the team you want to join, and ask when they are free.
  • Go to the side events. Breakfast briefings, drinks and dinners are where conversations get longer and more honest. Some are open to registered attendees and some need an invitation, so ask your contacts which ones they recommend.
  • Follow up within 48 hours. Mention where you met and what you talked about, attach your CV, and suggest a next step. People meet a lot of new faces in a show week, so a fast, specific reminder is what keeps you on their list.

Which iGaming event should you pick?

If your budget only covers one show, match it to the job you want rather than to the biggest name.

  • Affiliate, SEO, content or media buying: iGB Affiliate in January, especially if you already work at an affiliate and qualify for the free pass.
  • B2B sales, account management or a supplier role: ICE Barcelona, which is built around operators and the businesses that sell to them.
  • A move to Malta or an operator role in Europe: SiGMA Europe in May.
  • Roles in Europe: iGB L!VE in Amsterdam in July.
  • Sportsbook, trading and betting product: SBC Summit in Lisbon in September.
  • The US market: G2E in Las Vegas, and SBC Summit Americas once its 2027 dates are out.

Whichever you choose, start your target list now. The people who do best at these shows are the ones who arrive with meetings already booked.
