Privacy Policy

This policy describes what igamingjobs (igamingjobs.io) collects, why, and what we deliberately avoid collecting. The short version: no advertising trackers, no data sales, and we never see your card number. If you upload a CV or apply to a job here, that data is stored by us and shown only to the recruiters described below. We use one analytics tool plus our own server-side counters, both described below.

What we collect

Server-side analytics. When you view a page we record the page URL, the referring page, your browser's user-agent string and a two-letter country code (derived at the network edge) in our own database. To count unique visitors without identifying anyone, we store a salted hash that rotates every day; this first-party system stores no raw IP addresses and sets no cookies, and yesterday's hash cannot be linked to today's.

Product analytics (Yandex Metrika). We use Yandex Metrika to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays. Metrika sets browser cookies (names starting with _ym) and processes visit data, including your IP address, on Yandex's servers under Yandex's privacy policy. It is used for product improvement only, never for advertising. If you block the script or its cookies, every part of the site keeps working.

Talent pool. If you drop your CV on the talent page, we store the file and the details we read from it (name, contact details, experience, skills, languages, links) together with your email address, on our own hiring platform, HireLabs. Recruiters hiring on this site can find your profile and message you. Your CV file is never public and never appears on the site itself.

Applications. Some listings let you apply on this site instead of on the employer's website. For those we store your CV, your answers to the screening questions, a snapshot of your profile at the time, your consent and a hashed IP address. We share the application, your answers and your CV with the hiring person for that position, and your profile joins the pool that recruiters hiring here can search. We may score applications to show the hiring person the strongest ones first; the score is a ranking aid, not a decision. Applying creates a profile for you, so you can see every application, its status, and delete everything under My profile.

Telegram. If you choose to confirm an application or sign in through our Telegram bot, we store your Telegram user id and username so the bot can recognise you. We never message you there without you starting the conversation.

Employer orders. If you post a job, we store the details you submit (job description, company name, contact email) and the order status, because we need them to publish and support your listing and to keep basic accounting records.

What we do not collect

  • Browsing needs no account. You can read every listing without signing up. A profile is created only when you upload a CV or apply on this site. Listings that send you to the employer's own website are handled under the employer's privacy policy.
  • Payment details. Card and crypto payments are processed by our payment providers (Stripe for cards, OxaPay for crypto). We receive a confirmation of payment, never your card number or wallet keys.

Cookies

Yandex Metrika sets analytics cookies (_ym_*). They are not used for advertising and are not shared with ad networks. If you sign in to your profile we set one session cookie (hl_talent, 30 days) that keeps you signed in; it holds a random token, nothing about you. Three small preference cookies remember that you have seen our safety note, which Telegram channel language you picked, and that you joined the channel. Blocking any of them does not affect browsing.

Sharing

We do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers. Profiles and applications are shown to recruiters hiring on this site, as described above, and to no one else. CV parsing and application scoring send the text of your CV and answers to an AI model provider, used only to read and rank the application, never for advertising. The other third parties that process data on our behalf are the payment providers named above (only for payments you initiate), our email delivery provider (sign-in links and job alerts) and Yandex Metrika (analytics, as described above). Listings link out to employer websites; once you leave this site, the employer's own policies apply.

Retention

Analytics rows are deleted automatically after 90 days. Order records are kept for as long as accounting rules require. Your profile and CV stay until you delete them. Twelve months after you apply, the personal content of that application (answers, profile snapshot, screening notes) is erased automatically; only the outcome and the score remain, without anything that identifies you. Applications you never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

Candidates can see, edit and delete their profile, CV and applications at any time under My profile; deletion is immediate and removes the CV file and every application. You can also ask what we hold about you (for employers, that is your order data) and ask for it to be corrected or deleted where the law allows, including analytics data held in Yandex Metrika. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
