Playson Jobs and Careers
Playson is a B2B casino game studio. It builds online slots and the technology behind them, and supplies them to licensed operators and aggregators rather than running a casino of its own. Its job adverts say the company was founded in 2012. Much of the catalogue uses Hold and Win mechanics, and 2026 releases include Coin Strike XXL: Hold and Win, 4 Scarab Coins: Hold and Win and Rhino Coins. This year it has also announced operator deals in the UK, the Netherlands, Brazil, Colombia and Kenya.
Trade press describes Playson as headquartered in Malta. Its official careers board lists a finance team in Malta on a hybrid model, a Bratislava hub, a Gibraltar office and roles based in Ukraine, without naming a Ukrainian city. Most other roles are advertised as remote within the European Union, which includes Cyprus, Latvia and Malta, and one events role has also been open to candidates in Colombia, Argentina and Peru.
Hiring is organised into tribes and squads. The Game Tribe takes slot artists, animators, game mathematicians, game developers, backend engineers and content managers. The Platform Tribe hires backend and game engine engineers, integration engineers, technical program managers and technical support engineers. Commercial and general teams cover events, operator onboarding, marketing design, compliance, finance, IT and people roles. Adverts mention a quarterly bonus, a flexible schedule and reimbursement for professional development courses.
Apply through the Playson careers board. Art, animation and marketing design roles start with a portfolio review (applications without one are not considered), then an HR interview, a take home task and a final interview. Engineering adverts usually list an HR interview, a technical interview with live coding and a final interview.
