This Senior Risk & Trading Analyst position is crucial for Dicey, Magic Eden's new crypto casino and sportsbook. The role focuses on maintaining sustainable margins and enhancing the customer experience by proactively identifying and neutralizing threats. This involves monitoring live Sportsbook and Casino activity to combat sharp play, arbitrage, exploits, and bonus abuse, ensuring the platform operates with integrity.

A key part of the role involves in-depth player profiling, tracking betting patterns, withdrawal velocity, and managing risk actions such as account restrictions or market adjustments. The analyst will also scrutinize casino game outcomes against expected RTP to detect technical anomalies and multi-accounting. For the sportsbook, responsibilities include monitoring pre-match and in-play event exposure, liabilities, and market movements, alongside handling platform risk settings and managing feed providers.

Beyond real-time monitoring, the role extends to fraud prevention by reviewing high-risk withdrawals and suspicious payment patterns in collaboration with other teams. The analyst will also be instrumental in optimizing processes through data-driven risk reports and refining automated alerting frameworks. Success in this role requires a candidate who can make rapid, commercial decisions in a 24/7 live environment and communicate clearly during critical incidents.

• Detect & Mitigate: Monitor live Sportsbook and Casino activity to swiftly neutralize sharp play, arbitrage, exploits, and bonus abuse.
• Player Profiling: Track player profitability, betting patterns, and withdrawal velocity; manage risk actions like account restrictions or market adjustments.
• Integrity Control: Analyze casino game outcomes against expected RTP to identify technical anomalies and multi-accounting.

Sportsbook & Trading Support

• Exposure Management: Monitor pre-match and in-play event exposure, liabilities, and market movements.

Payments, Process & Collaboration

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in a Risk, Trading, or Fraud role within iGaming or Sports Betting.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of trading concepts (odds, liabilities, exposure) and casino mechanics (RTP, volatility).
• Data & Anomaly Detection: Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, BI) to rapidly spot sharp action and pricing inefficiencies.
• Live Operations Mindset: Ability to make fast, commercial decisions in high-volume, 24/7 live environments (including shifts).
• Composure & Communication: Clear articulation during escalations and a calm demeanor during high-pressure, peak-volume periods.
