This Senior Full-Stack .NET Engineer position at GR8 Tech focuses on the architecture and implementation of high-load, enterprise-level B2B iGaming platforms. The role requires designing and developing scalable software solutions using the .NET stack, with an emphasis on writing, testing, and debugging complex code for systems demanding low latency and high reliability. A key aspect is identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks across various system layers, including CPU, memory, I/O, and databases.

The role also encompasses significant responsibility for engineering quality and observability. This includes conducting thorough code reviews to maintain high standards, developing and enforcing testing protocols to ensure software reliability, and implementing production observability frameworks like logging, metrics, and distributed tracing. The successful candidate will also be expected to create and maintain clear technical documentation for system designs.

Collaboration and leadership are central to this position. The Senior Engineer will mentor junior and mid-level engineers, guiding their technical development. They will also partner with Delivery Managers to lead software development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Effective communication with product management, design, operations, and other stakeholders is essential to align technical execution with broader business objectives.

• Architecture & Execution: Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure enterprise-level software architectures across our .NET stack.
• Write, test, and debug complex code for high-load systems with strict latency and reliability requirements.
• Deliver clean code to production in a timely manner, balancing business speed with technical excellence.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior engineering role with a track record of leadership, strong technical skills, and successful project delivery.
• Deep hands-on expertise in C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6+).
• Commercial experience or a strong willingness to learn and work with Golang and Node.js.
• Experience designing and evolving high-load backend systems with strict latency and reliability requirements.
• Experience working REST API and web services.
• Strong understanding of async/await, multithreading, thread safety, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Ability to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, I/O, and database layers.
• Experience designing and operating microservice-based systems.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking, concurrency, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery.
• Understanding of scalability, load balancing, auto-scaling, and disaster recovery.
• Understanding of production observability including logging, metrics, monitoring, and tracing.
