In this role, you will lead a team responsible for defining best practices in cloud platforms and automation. You will manage platform operations, ensuring they are reliable and scalable while promoting DevOps practices like Terraform and CI/CD to enhance efficiency.

What You’ll Work On

• Provide technical leadership – Define best practices for cloud platforms, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform reliability.
• Drive delivery and improvement – Manage technical improvements and ensure reliable delivery of platform capabilities.
• Own platform operations – Ensure critical platform services are reliable, scalable, and continuously improved to support business and engineering needs.
• Champion automation and DevOps practices – Promote Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and CI/CD practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Ensure reliability and security – Drive observability, incident management, security practices, and platform governance.
• Collaborate across teams – Work with engineering, security, architecture, and business teams to align platform solutions with organisational goals.

What You Bring

• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AWS edge services such as CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda@Edge, WAF, and CDN technologies.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience building and running reliable, secure, and scalable platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring, observability, and improving platform reliability.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile and ITIL practices.
