.NET Team Lead

About the role

This contract role focuses on the development and support of .NET web applications within an iGaming context. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming business logic, creating and maintaining APIs, and integrating these systems with various external services. This requires a solid understanding of modern architectural patterns and clean code practices.

A core aspect of this position is team leadership. The role involves task distribution, team formation, and providing mentorship to help team members achieve their objectives. This includes fostering a collaborative environment, debugging, and conducting internal testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Success in this role means delivering robust, scalable .NET applications and APIs, while effectively guiding a development team. It requires a blend of hands-on coding expertise, particularly with microservices and WebAPI, and the ability to lead and develop other engineers, ensuring consistent application of best practices like SOLID principles and code refactoring.

Requirements

• Team leadership experience
• Experience developing applications with micro-services architecture
• Experience developing .NET web applications or 6 years of experience with .NET Core
• Experience with .NET framework 5+ and .NET Core 3+
• Good understanding of REST
• Understanding and applying SOLID principles
• Experience creating WebAPI
• Knowledge of C#; API, REST; OOP, DDD, SOLID; Visual Studio; Kafka, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Docker.
