Responsibilities:

• System Management & Administration:
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, server hardware, and software applications, ensuring system configurations align with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Regularly update, patch, and upgrade systems to maintain security and functionality.

• Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability continuously.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users or operations.
• Optimize system performance through tuning configurations, hardware upgrades, and process improvements.

• Security & Compliance:
• Implement and manage robust security measures to safeguard IT systems, applications, and data.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience & Expertise:
• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in large-scale or complex environments.
• Strong proficiency in administering both Windows and Linux server environments.

• Virtualization & Cloud Knowledge:
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Core Services Management:
• Expertise in managing core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

• Technical Skills:
• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and task management.
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage systems and backup tools such as Veeam.

• System Optimization & Monitoring:
• In-depth knowledge of system performance monitoring tools and optimization techniques.

• Problem-Solving & Communication:
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical reporting and user support.

• Nice to Have:
• Relevant certifications in IT support, networking, or operating systems will be considered as a plus.
• Familiarity with streaming and broadcasting equipment is an advantage.
