As a DevOps Engineer at IGT, you will play a critical role in improving the scalability, reliability, and performance of their gaming platforms. Working within an agile team, your contributions will include writing code, conducting peer reviews, and developing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated releases.

The position requires collaboration across various teams to ensure operational readiness and support for platforms. You will focus on driving the adoption of DevOps practices and continuously improving system performance and workflows, all while working remotely from the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering Responsibilities

• Write and contribute code to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute unit tests and participate in peer reviews to maintain a high quality codebase.
• Collaborate closely within a small agile team to plan, deliver, and continuously improve.

Platform, Reliability & DevOps

• Ensure operational readiness of solutions, including performance, monitoring, reliability, and disaster recovery considerations.
• Contribute across design, development, automation, and operational support activities.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable, and automated releases.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational workflows.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD and automation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Installs and Support teams to ensure platforms are production ready and well supported.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or Software Development roles.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working with virtualised, containerised, or distributed environments.
• Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Work Arrangement

• Role based in the Philippines.
• Fully remote from anywhere within the Philippines.
• Must have at least 6 hours of daily overlap with the Australian Eastern Time Zone (AEST/AEDT).
• Flexible working hours outside the overlap period.
