Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor backend engineers, providing technical guidance and support
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services
- Take ownership of backend architecture and contribute to key technical decisions
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code
- Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and other teams
- Identify technical risks and propose effective solutions
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and monitoring
- Help define technical roadmaps and break complex requirements into actionable tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and technical issues
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend software development experience
- Strong commercial experience with Go or Node.js
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or microservices
- Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with cloud platforms and/or containerization technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, and system architecture
- Experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
- Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
