About the role

As a Backend Developer at IGT, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and other related technologies. This role involves designing RESTful APIs and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

• 6–8 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) /Typescript and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Express.js, Nest.js, Moleculer.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of database management systems (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and websockets.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
