- Coordinate and support the monthly accounting close for multiple LATAM entities, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform variance analysis and review financial results to identify unusual movements, investigate discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all key accounts are reconciled and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and tax requirements across LATAM jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with external accounting partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of accounting matters.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness before it is finalized in the General Ledger.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and support automation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior accounting team members, helping maintain high-quality accounting standards across the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multinational or regional organizations.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and reconciliations.
- Experience working with multiple LATAM countries; exposure to Argentina, Colombia, and Peru is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and month-end close processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate business impacts effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance and business teams.
- Advanced English proficiency.
