About the role

This role focuses on bringing a new video slot game, TAXI$, to life through 2D art and animation. The project is set in a night city theme, featuring a 16:9 desktop format with a 5x3 base game and a three-stage bonus round. The artist will be responsible for creating all visual elements, from game symbols to animated backgrounds and bonus stage designs, ensuring a consistent cartoon or cel-shaded aesthetic.

Key responsibilities include designing 11 game symbols (high, low, wild, scatter), developing a mascot with various reactions, and illustrating a five-scene Big-Win ladder. The artist will also create multiple game environments, including the base 5x3 grid, a 7x7 free spins layout, and an expanding city scene, all with animated background loops. The role requires designing intricate bonus stages with elements like neon clusters, coin targets, and moving collector cars.

The position offers creative freedom within a provided art brief, allowing the artist to propose alternative designs if they see a better approach. Success in this role means delivering high-quality, technically compliant assets (e.g., PNG with alpha, specific resolutions, kebab-case naming) that align with the game's theme and visual style, contributing significantly to the overall player experience.
